ABOUT US

Founded by Silas Lewis, Samson Stone's name came from the biblical character "Samson".  Samson was a strong man that placed himself between two stone pillars that supported an entire arena and pushed them down to destroy his enemies that were seated inside.  Samson represented strength, loyalty and leadership.  Samson Stone applies each of those qualities in every area of our work.

We have a combined 15 years of experience in stone and stucco installation.  We work with both commercial and residential builders as well as individual home owners.  Samson Stone has been recognized as a "Preferred Installer" for Owens Corning Stone and we have been chosen as the select installers for the following award winning projects:

Samson Stone takes great pride in our quality and service.  One of the most important things to us is to be on time.  We believe in constant communication with our client.  Once we have seen your project, you will receive an estimate within 48-hours.  We know that each project has a time line and we will work with you to meet that deadline.

We are also excited about the opening of our new location at 205 E. Lee Rd. in Taylors, SC.  We will be selling several different types of stone, mulch, sand, gravel and tools necessary to complete your project.  You will now have the opportunity to buy from someone who has years of experience with installation.  What this means for you is that there will be no guessing on what you need or how much you need in order to complete your job.  And if you choose Samson Stone as your installer, you will now be able to pick your stone from our yard.  Basically, this is a one stop shop.

Silas is a native of Greenville, South Carolina, a graduate of Clemson University and a member of the Home Builders Association of South Carolina.  He is married to Shelley Lewis and has a daughter, Haisley Lewis, a son, Ford Lewis and a dog/mascot Roxy.
